Eoi - steel rims with slicks

Hi guys, I want a new set of wheels for my drag car. I'm thinking of selling the ones I have on it now. Vw steelies 4x 130,15x8 rims deep dish with 26x8.5 Hoosier slicks. Perfect for the budget racer! I'd be looking for about $250 neg?? For the pair...

I could bring them to the Sydney showdown if anyone's interested down that way.

You should've come to dyno day....Wally sold a pair of wheels with slicks. Would have been perfect.

Damn it! That was the ones I was after! I couldn't really afford to blow 500 bucks on wheels when I already have some but I thought if I could get enough interest in mine it would justify the purchase! Oh well,I'll be sticking with these then! I would have loved to come to dyno day but we unfortunately had to get our dog put down today.

Sad news Mick.... But on a more appropriate note.... Did you see that ad on here from that bloke in central Vic?... He's got some 7" wide centreline style rims with bead locks for sale?... Wide 5's but that's an easy fix.... Price is good too.

Yeah, the money would probably be better spent on the engine at the moment... I was just considering wallys wheels because they were so convenient and cheap considering they had slicks already on them and are 4 stud! If I'm gonna spend 125-150 each rim I'd probably just look at a pair of 4 stud brms or something from rod. I don't really need them at the moment, just the thought of those nice shiney wheels on my car seemed really appealing!
