Sorted.
Looking for a 60s or earlier Beetle "old shape" of the old ones. Not a huge fan of later ones with padded dashes but would consider anything. I like
simplicity and sloping headlights. Well restored or very nice original condition. Not after a project. Must be suited to a daily driver. Not really
after a dedicated "show pony". C'mon, wow me, tempt me, sell me something.
My wish list would be one of the following:
Herbie the love bug, not a 70s bug with stripes but a fairly accurate correct vintage one or potential to be one.
Oval window, need I say more.
A really tidy early to mid 60s bug.
A really tidy type 3
Pushing it for budget but a KG or Manx or even a good Thing/CB as long as it is weather tight and seats 4.
I don't want to spend ridiculous money but want something that can just be enjoyed. Rust free, ready to go, registered and roadworthy or roadworthy
at a minimum with current safety certificate. Hardtop, soft top or ragtop, willing to travel for the right car. A nicely done Baja would be ok but
preference is for a stock looking car or nice custom.
I have a budget, willing to stretch it for the right car. Have cash and have permission so ready to buy.
I'm northside of Brisbane but will fly/drive/travel to pick up a suitable car or exercise a trade, please pm or email Paul, pfillery@yahoo.com.au

Sorted.
Sorted. I'm now the proud owner (nearly) of a 68 bug and a trailer full of spares. Will be my 3rd beetle but the first one I'll drive.
