country buggy help - gearbox

can anyone shed some light on the country buggy gearbox stn please?

we have one country buggy with a rooted gearbox - do i need a country buggy gearbox to replace it?

can i use a splitty gearbox and transfer axles etc? or a beetle box for that matter?

if i do have to finda country buggy box, what sort of cash would i be looking at forking out, i presume they are pretty hard to find?

thanks

What is rooted? If the reduction boxes are ok, you can use a Splitty box or beetle box with the diff flipped both using the country buggy reductions

I used a 1500 box in between redux boxes at one point to try and up the ratios

Thanks gents, upon further inspection seems to only be trouble at the selector end - fingers crossed easy fix
