Water leak 69 Notch

OK so in this east coast weather at the moment we should expect some leaks? Well anyway Vernon the Notch has been leaking without all the help from above of late. Am hoping for some collective wisdom on fixing the leak/s. Was keen on upgrading carpets etc but that is off limits till I get this sorted.
Rather than describing it I am attaching this photo and some labels so as to avoid any confusion as I undertand the Type 3's can leak from numerous locations.

Have had some advice to say it is tracking down via a leak in the air boxes. This has some credit based on the water droplets I am seeing on the 45 degree foot rests? But there is quite a lot and the drain lines have been removed, cleaned and reinstated.

The windscreen rubber has not been replaced since 69 so I am not righting that potential off either but it would need to be coming down via the A pillar as I am seeing no water around the windscreen anywhere else. That all said I am a newbie with Type 3's and would welcome any ideas or experience.
cheers Shaun

Hi

I presume You are driving the car..??
and the answer would be easy.. from the heater channel rust holes..
water being forced thru... and under or thru the body rubber...
but if Not driving it..???

Not driving. Just parked.
The channels are solid except for the piece that wraps internally from the outside to the centre of the car just at the front of the heater outlet if that makes sense.

Replace the windscreen rubber. Most likely leaking at corner(s) straight down demister vent which then flows out floor heater vents. Also make sure the door hinge covers are sealing as that is another area where water can flow into the A pillar area.

likely the door pillar, water is probably getting inside the pillar and filling it. Seen one guy who's pillar are completely full of water.

you could rule out air box leak by putting a strip of magnet over the fresh air vents.

69 hasn't got the dreaded air box. If the air vents on an up to 70 (71??) leaks at the seal or the two drain hoses are blocked you get wet feet. It doesn't get across to the pillar area. Windscreen rubber leaking into demister vent which has over the years rusted the sill heater tubes and maybe through the mating surface to the floor pan which is why it's seeping out of the rubber seal area. Be prepared to fix the rust around the screen lip when you pull the screen out!
