WTD. Type 3 rear backing plates.

Hey all,

After a set of rear brake backing plates for a Type 3.

I think ( and I'm happy to be corrected here ) that IRS and swing axle rear plates are the same or at least interchangeable ?
Drop me line if you have anything , PM only please.

Best

ian

From memory the backing plates are the same dimensions however the early ones do not have adjustment holes in the backing plates you adjust them thru the drums. However late drums do not have adjustment holes. Therefore you would need to make holes in the early backing plates.
