Deciphering correct carpet cuts for a '54 Oval
Hi guys,
So it's that time of the build where i'm ordering my german square weave kit, and the company supplying is in the UK.
They have asked me the following:

1 where is your heater knob on the chassis in front or behind the hand brake
2 the heater outlets are they round or Oval forward or back
3 what sills do you have
4 I would take and send some pictures if your not sure

1) Heater knob is behind the the hand brake
2) Heater outlets are oval, and front near feet
3) I never had carpet in my shell, so was a little unsure as to which carpet would suit my sill
4) I have asked them to send me some pics to explain what exactly it is they are referring to when they talk about front scuttle panel

Hi Dino,
I am about to embark on the same step- I still have the original carpet in the Beetle as a reference. Let me know if you want to drop into my painters
where the car is having the 'ivory treatment' to interior trim parts!
I may also be interested in purchasing a set through this supplier, price dependent? I was considering getting a trimmer to do them from scratch with
german square weave so would be interested in the price differential!
