Window stuck

My right side window is stuck in the door frame. The Glass is no longer attached to the lifter?/ guide the raises and lowers the window. Any ideas on how to loosen the window without breaking it? Cheers. Also the rubber guide near the edge of the door-should that be infront or behind the metal as the screw is missing, thanks!

Can you still wind the handle up and down and the lifter moves??

The glass only sits in the lifter and is held in place with some rubber at the bottom.

You said this car has sat for a while - i am guessing the glass has frozen in the bailey channels and is stuck there.
As said - it doent take much to pull the glass out of the lifter thing

maybe a bit of WD40 round the outside of the glass, even run a blade down the side of the glass.
then apply pressure either side of the window and push down

Good luck

I can see a bolt missing in the side channel guide, I could see that making the window tight

just took card off left hand door and the chanel/guide is in the same position and window works. However when i look up at the winder mech I cant see it, where as drivers door I can, thinking its been bent and thats why the glass cant get past it?
Might need a new regulator thingy??
