[WTB - QLD] pre 68 beetle tidy condition
[size=5]Hi I am looking for a pre 1968 beetle
- Will travel for right car, have bought cars 1500km+ away before.
- Just after something I can register with little work, presents alright, mainly with a solid
- Lowering and bigger motors are fine as I'd end up doing this anyway, otherwise mainly stock appearance.
- as far as budget goes depends on car, but have up $5k ready to go, could get a couple extra for the right car. If you come across any for sale
please pass it on.

i have a bug in pretty good condition, every thing is ok good motor good gearbox diff the same wide 5 with chrome wheels an prety good hub caps,inside
is pretty clean, good grey headlining veraly new,floors are near perfict very little ust mainly along the roof gutters and i mean a small amount
flours are great
dam, i havent put the pics on photo bucket yet if ya interested let me know looking for $3000.00

Same yellow in other post I'm guessing?
I'll consider other models as well.
Not fussed on supers but if it's clean and cheap might be ok

I guess the days of the tidy $2k beetle are over.
I'm keeping an eye on ebay, gumtree, trading post, advertised locally.
This one stands out a bit has some rust in door bonnet, engine lid and who knows what else is hiding.

Not sure if you would be interested, but I have a 68 project with all paint done. Heaps of new parts (dellorto carbs, vintage speed exhaust) all glass
& seats, just needs a bit of time spent. Have photos to prove bare metal re-spray with detail photos of many major repairs.
