What Modern Bucket Seats will Fit 74 Superbug?

I need to buy a pair of bucket seats for my 74 Superbug and was hoping to put some more modern seats in it!

Do people know what other model vehicles will fit in them eg civic or wrx?

Has anyone got some hanging around good adjustable ones! Got bad back need lumber support! :)

thanks
Lisa

All will need modifications to the base and the an engineers report.

You want a seat no more than 520mm wide on the base. Otherwise the hand brake disappears.

Common choices are Honda Prelude and Sukuki Swift.

Recaro are also excellent choice, especially if you want support.
They were standard in Proton Satria GTI.

I can't really answer that question, I bought the interior from a guy on eBay Sweden, I only know it comes from an Hyundai Coupe from 2005. Here comes photos:

It's not much space left for legs behind the drivers seat when I sit there, but it looks great and nobody sit back there anyway ;)

now thats what im talking about!!

That looks awesome! I do have two kids that need to seat in the back, was the base of the back seat deeper than the normal seats so you needed to bring the floor bracketing forward? It must have been one of the smaller coupes for the backseats to fit in there!

Love to see what you have done with the rest of the interior and dash! PM me if you like!

Yes, its from Hyundai's small 2 door sports car, not a family car. And yes the base of the seat is a lot deeper then the normal dub seat, but it's also a lot harder. I mean in the original backseat you have like 15-20cm suspension and in the Hyundai there may be 2cm, haha. I built a spacer out of plywood to get the seat in the right height.
Also the front seats are low and hard, the original dub has a lot of suspension in the seats and in the high tires, and a little in the front beam, what I try to say is that you may feel every little stone on the road if you have hard and low tires as I have in the front  but it looks and feels cool.
The back of the rear seat is kind of high, as you can see there is no "headrests" and it's not needed anyway. The problem in the assembly, the entire rear seat is a little hard to get back as far as you want. I'm 180cm tall and like to stretch out my legs in driving position, then there is just a few centimeters left behind the drivers seat. The passenger front seat can be a little further ahead.

Yes, Tiburon, Coupe and Genesis are all the same car but called different things in different countries. We also had the "Coupe" badge here for a while, but people know it better as the Tiburon.

I recently acquired a set of the Swift GTi seats to fit to my 74 Super. Unfortunately I crashed the car last weekend, so they will have to wait until the damage is repaired. :(

Only minor damage fortunately. Rear guards and a rear bumper. But I will probably get the rust repaired too.

Like any non-VW seat they will need custom brackets. I do not have the rear seat, just the fronts.

Cheers,
