Exhaust - opinions
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VW-BEETLE-EXHAUST-STAINLESS-STEEL-EXTRACTORS-HEADE...
I see these on eBay, price seems good. Anyone fitted these? Wondering how they sound? And perform? For my daughters car .

Yes - I had one of these and they are not too bad performance wise.
Pretty sure I didnt pay that price though.
Stainless quality is pretty good.
Heat risers were not drilled out - and if you want them drilled it is a bitch because they are on the curve of the pipe and the drill will break
They are not proper heat risers like a stok exhaust either.
The slip joint is a pain, and seems harder to bind being stainless.
Problem solved with flanges, but getting the stainless flanges and then welding them is a pain if you dont have the resources handy
I would probably go the non staino for less than half the price - or spend a bit more and get the Vintage Speed.
I "think" the base version is under $500, but has flanges and proper heat risers??
Futue te ipsum!!!
