Newbie from the USA
Hi. I'm Tom from Ballwin (St.Louis) Missouri USA. I am new to this site. I have a 1969 Bug with a 2.0 914 engine that my son, and I built, when he
was a senior in high school. He is now 40 years old. My other car is a Work in Progress. It is a 1969 Squareback, setting on a custom 2" x 3"
chassis with a small block Chevy 350, 700R4 transmission, Mustang II front suspension and a narrowed 9"Ford, triangulated 4-bar rear end.

Welcome Tom. I don't know why they don't put the correct engine in cars in the factory! 
Paul Newman stuck a 351 Ford V8 in his VW convertible.....50 years ago.
