1970 Beetle pan and body, sale fallen through, needs to go THIS WEEKEND

Selling some bug parts. Lots actually. Either as a whole for a project or to be parted out.

1970 body and pan, good swing axle gearbox, disc brake front end, good stock rims, 2 out of 4 tyres are great, pretty good doors, all glass, very straight bonnet, some other bits and interior, no motor, no rear decklid, missing one front guard, minimum rust. Has been partly cleaned up and undercoated. Willing to part it out if no interest in the whole, separate body and pan, Can do body cuts, has great roof, front and rear valances etc. but still very good body and easily saved. Pan is pretty good too. Great donor body.

Lots of body and other parts from a 66 Beetle too. Guards, one and a half tail lights, doors, tank, rear seat, all glass, ratty steering wheel, pair of ratty blade bumpers with over riders, really nice 61 decklid and popes nose in original paint, rear valance cut, king/link front end not pictured, torsion bars, assorted body cuts and pan cuts (tunnel and rear suspension). And a couple of weird air cleaners. Priced from $5 each. Will be sold or will be scrapped.

Contact Paul on PM or email pfillery@yahoo.com.au for details. Located Morayfield Brisbane.

A couple of early air filters too

One looks like a 50s or 60s split bus and the other could be bay Kombi or Ghia going by the google images.

More added!

Bump time. Seats (70's ones) are gone as are some guards, still have body, pan, swinger box etc. Will look at stripping it in the next couple of weekends if no interest in the whole. I think its too good to wreck so someone step up and save it. Make it into a lawn sculpture, a BBQ, chook house, many possibilities.

Please buy it.....I can feel myself heading towards the angle grinder disc section at Bunnings!

Also have set of Monroe shockers to suit ball joint front and swing axle rear. Brand new gas filled ones, rrp for the 4 was over $400, sell for $225 the set or seperate fronts and rears. Even a cheap shockie will set you back $60 each.

Bump.

Need to move this. Whether its in one piece or many. To good homes or scrap metal. If you need bits let me know before it's too late. Deadline end of next week otherwise next weekend it's out with the grinder.

Don't cut it up, I'll take it if nobody else does depending on your bottom price. I need to pick up that tinware anyway ;)

I wanted $100 for the bare shell and pan. Nothing attached, just the basics like glass.

I was trying to get $350 negotiable for the whole thing as a roller. But time has grown short and I want it gone. I am sure I'll have no trouble storing and selling all the fittings like doors, wheels, box, front end etc but have no space to sit the shell long term especially with no wheels. Once I can no longer roll it, it becomes a hassle. And the wheels, doors, front end etc are on eBay finishing on the weekend. So you can see my problem.......

I've had 2 people keen on it but had neither of them has come to look, while I'd rather not see it destroyed I can't keep it as a lawn ornament either.

No sorry I don't.

Lots seem to be for sale on the samba but don't see so many here. I was after one myself at one stage but may be moving on from the bug soon ish.

Amazing how the thought of a grinder hurries things along.

Looks like someone has snapped up the whole body/pan with all of what's on it.

Car is sold.

At this point the body is spoken for as a whole shell, should go on the weekend. Will do cuts next week if it is still available.

Pedals went off in a box to the USA. Apparently its a big trend over there to convert LHD cars to RHD for shows etc.

Front guards are very rusty on the seam where they mount to the car and one has been bogged and badly repaired. Available but probably not worth repairing so will more likely go to scrap.

Decklid was amongst first things to go.

Harness stayed in the body sorry. I have fuse boxes available but not any wiring.

Body and doors have gone. Gearbox gone.

Remaining is one rear guard, one front guard, bonnet, starter, wiper motor, small bits and pieces.
