[FS - VIC] '73 Square ready to restore SOLD!

Went and checked out a 73 Squareback at a family friend's house this morning He's had it for probably 20 years and always meant to do it up. He's recently gotten sick and isn't really able to take on the job, so he's keen to move it on to somebody who will hopefully give it a new lease on life. I offered to put it onto the net for him, so that hopefully a person who would be keen to restore it would take it on. Not a bad price, considering a replacement engine isn't too expensive and pretty easy to put in.

The details as I know them (I only looked at it for 10 mins):
Original paint - peeling is some places
Decent amount of rust, but can definitely be repaired from what I saw.
Roof has rust, but it's more of a nice 'patina' in my opinion
Interior is in great condition - you probably wouldn't need to do much other than replace the glass on one of the gauges and a general tidy up.
Manual Transmission
Has a 1600 Engine, but he believes it's cactus - however, he's not entirely sure what was wrong with it. He said he does have a working engine from a '65 notch to go in it (not sure it that's possible?) it's a 6v. Possibly needs to be converted. But that can go with the car.
There was a couple of minor dings n the sides that could be worked out pretty easily I'd say.

It's not something that you could turn on the key and off you go, but it's a pretty reasonable base for a decent project. Could always keep it ratty - that roof looks great, in my opinion.

He was very specific that he wants $1000 for it and the price is NOT negotiable.

If you're interested, send me a private message and I can answer any questions if you have any and I can give you contact details, if you're seriously looking for a project.
Would need to be towed or trailered out of there.

As per moderators request:

Car is not registered or roadworthy.
Car is located in Moonee Ponds, VIC
My name is Adam and my contact number is 0431 403 446.
However, it isn't my car, I'm posting this to help out a family friend. So, if you're genuinely interested, send me a DM and I'll give you the seller's direct contact details.
They specifically didn't want their contact details listed on the net, so I promised to be the go between.

Hopefully this is enough info.
