1966 Deluxe

So, I started off wanting to learn about mechanical stuff (paper pusher by day). I bought a dirt bike, crashed and broke my shoulder... so a friend suggested something with four wheels. We found a well loved beetle from a lovely old Italian couple in Fairfield, cut a deal and I drove it home.

Well, after nearly four years I can say I am 95% finished, and comfortable putting up a photo (if it works).

Full (pan on) restoration. I have learnt a lot and look forward to meeting some of you guys at the local meets.

Hus.

Lovely.

This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.

I love Java Green as you dont see many on the road that colour but Horizon Blue looks great too.

Do you live near Fairfield?

Yeah not far from Fairfield.

Good choice :tu:

Come down to Harry's Cafe at Liverpool the first Friday evening in December, 7pm. We have a gathering growing bigger all the time.
