Left side mirror
Hi all,
Have a '71 Superbug, but with no left side mirror. Need one if anyone has one for sale. Funny thing though, there seems to be no mounting hole in
the door ! Is this normal, or as it is a respray, maybe it has been bogged up for some reason.???

Yep thats normal, the passenger side mirror mount didn't start till 72, and even then they still had no mirrors, just blank plastic bungs in
there.
You can add the mount but its a prick of a job and hardly worth it.
Passanger side mirrors are next to useless on a bug, only good for making sure the side trim hasnt fallen off unless you install one of those little
convex blind spot mirrors.
