different year pedal Assembly's
Was wondering how many types of beetle pedal assembly's are there...not sure if I can use my pre 67 pedals " which i cant find" on my 68 pan..just
took my mates 68 for a spin and it seems that his clutch pedal has more throw " bent back to driver" feels to long actually for my race car....
Thanks
Fabo...

There is an adjustment plate under them that changes where they "rest" relative to the drivers seat
Different years the mounting bolts change positioning and from memory, the clutch hook can be in a different position too

Thanks daimo,I totally forgot about that plate,he has to much fancy carpet for me to move anyway,lol....
In regards to the mounting bolts, does that mean I'll have to get year specific for my pan??

IIRC the clutch and brake pedal only had 2 versions. The eraly ones, upto early 60s, swept out from the tunnel and had the outer securing bracket
within 10cm of the tunnel.
The later setup had the outer support bracket over twice that distance away.
The accel pedal changed about 3 times I think. Early used a large roller wheel, intermediate used a bar link between the accel rod and pedal and then
later ones used a small roller on the rod that sat on a curved ramp on the back of the pedal.
