A MOB OF COUNTRY BUGGIES
The Mallee area in Victoria was a very appropriate location for owners of Country Buggies when they were released in 1968.
Several were known to be purchased by local "cockies" to get them around their properties.
Today, 45 years later there is a retired "cocky" who has three of the best examples of the vehicle, all purpose built to meet his current needs.
They were never restored to be identical to original vehicles but the workmanship he has put into them if born out in the attached photos of his three
working vehicles. He has examples of a hard top, a soft top and a no top. The third vehicle is currently being registered as well.
There a couple of other rather sad CBs in the large shed behind the car and there are rumours that another vehicle may soon make the Mallee trip.
Talk about being devoted to a challenge.
