Stopped Traffic
So I got to stop traffic today, major congestion caused on Gympie road, Yeah Baby. But seriously damn you Friday the 13th, there I was quietly minding
my own business when - BAM, I got smacked in the arse. Had Gwen & Lochie in the car too, everyone is OK, Granddad came and picked them up so I
could stay and go through he paperwork, cops called. The old girl had to be towed home, bugger it going to a holding yard. I think the rear panel got
shunted sideways a bit too. All fixable which is lucky and will be going to Custom Vee Dub.

Yeah not all of this was on the bug, she bounced off a ranger before hitching up on me. but it was still one hell of a thump that woke us all up. The
rear panel looks to be knocked out of square as well so that will need pulling back and prob a new one. The car that hit her went under her tray and
lifted her rear wheels off the ground, then the ute slid off it and down the B pillar it went under that far.

she exploded her front on the ranger and pushed him through the intersection. The ranger held up well, just pushed in his tailgate

Glad to hear you're all ok. That really sucks though, nothing hurts like seeing your veedub messed up...
I went into the back of someone over the weekend (unavoidable/ blind bend/ steep hill/ banked up traffic/ old brakes), it's definitely not a good
feeling!!!
Still, old cars = solid metal. Nuff said!
Hope yours is repaired quickly & painlessly

Nothing worse that shit brakes.
I did brake pad and rotor change few months ago. Was coming up to a right turn lane and pulled up behind a territory and ran straight into the towbar.
Only damaged my number plate.
That week I forked out $200 and got my self QFMs and tossed the ferrodo pads over my shoulder. Useless pads!
It was the first time I ever ran into another car and made me realize how important good brakes are considering how slow I was going and got me by
surprise.

Its a good thing most of your parts are easily available and can be quickly swapped so long as the underlying frame is not bent
