Administrivia - Banner advertising going away
Hi folks,
As the prices of hosting has come down considerably since we first started in 2002, I no longer want an income stream of the magnitude we used to
need. This place has always run on fumes, deliberately, and with Das Resto Parts' sponsorship coming to an end on Dec 31, 2013, it's time to retire
paid sponsorships.

Please click ads when you see something you might like to know more about, as that helps us keep the doors open.
What's next for businesses
As of now, businesses can advertise for free in their own thread in Weekly Deals. I prefer automotive related businesses - so tire shops, paint shops,
car cleaning, VW repair shops, breakers yards, VW itself or VW dealers, all good. You get the picture.
Please be courteous and don't spam us and don't hijack other business' threads. Preferably, post once a week, say Friday so that folks who might
buy on the weekend can see your latest deals to our members on the forum.
Businesses are free to market to us there as well, by posting updates to projects they are working on (preferably with the owner's consent) to show
the quality of the work.
But I really want a banner here
If you really want to advertise here using a banner, you'll have to go through Google AdSense. I'll put in a special meta keyword that will make it
more likely that your ad will appear here rather than elsewhere, but as that's not how Google AdSense is designed to work, it's likely that your ad
will get a wider viewing than just this forum.

Thanks Andrew. It was "ACE 30 oil" (a product of QPL Victoria) which ran in 2005-6 for at least 12 months.

Fixed. Sorry about that, but that was during the time Jim handed over to Brad who handed over to me just before I left for the USA. There's precious
few records pre-2006 other than system documentation.
