Links to useful sites.

Please feel free to post links to sites with useful drag racing technical info, calculators etc, VW or otherwise.

Just post the link and a quick description of what it is. Please keep discussions to other threads.

I'll post a couple to get the ball rolling.....

Most of you have probably used this one to death, but it's full of drag racing related calculators for those who haven't. ET/MPH 1/8 to 1/4, HP/Weight etc etc.

Some fuel related links

Sunoco explaining specific gravity http://www.racegas.com/article/26

A bit of info on alcohol, nitromethane etc http://www.turbofast.com.au/racefuel.html  although this article does say alcohol engines run about 7.1 - 9.1 afr........ caveat emptor.

No worries, anyone can post up anything they find and I'll try keep them in order by topic. I had heaps of good ones but lost all my old saved links.

I have always found the engine calculator really helpful... For someone who is certainly not an engine builder I found I was able to work out compression, deck heights and all that jazz myself. Between Dave and I we can figure out how to chuck an engine together! Lol!
