Hey David, thanks!
I think I'm going to garage it for a little bit and maybe use this as an excuse to fix up my headlining and a few other bits that I've been avoiding
getting around to. I'll pm you soon.

Or a pane to replace!
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Hey BeastieBoy, yeah that was probably me, I cruised up to mates place around 1. I was probably on a bit of a mission.
Yeah they took a motorbike helmet that was in the back and busted the side and hatch door locks

Mofos. Where did it happen?
See you around here quite a bit. Usually near the fire station in east melb.
First time I spotted you was middle park I think near st kilda.
One of my fave type 3's.
Hope you can find a pop out easy enough.
If not maybe try Volkscourt in thomastown.

Ahh thanks man! Yeah i was living out in middle park for a while, but the other night I was staying at a friends in East Melbourne when it happened. I
just have to remember not to leave anything visible in there next time. I'm gonna do a little work on it now anyway and clean it up a bit so it
should hit the road super shiny next time.
There was a cool red squareback out in middle park way i used to drive past. Always good when you spot another one

Just purchased a mint '65 square, can't wait to get it home!
I posted a photo of your square once on instagram (when I saw it in middle park) and somebody commented and said 'wow, that was our actual wedding
car!"

Ha!
Yeah the person I bought it from got in touch again last year and asked if she could use it for her wedding. So I cleaned it all up and lent it to
them.
(Guess it could have been someone else's wedding car too )
Have you posted any pics of your new square? It'd be cool to check out!

Just trying to sort out transport. It's only two hours away and best quite so far is $500.

Hey I've had a chance to get back to work on the Veedub and I can't for the life of me get the rear door open : / the guy who's tried to broke in
has totally busted the rear lock and it won't open and I can't seem to get to it from inside.
Any ideas how I could get this open?

Cancel that! I got it, looks like there was a hole in the top for opening it.
