leaking carby
Hi
I've found a bit of a problem with my carb.It works great drives well, idles great etc. Except when I park the car facing up an incline. When i do
this fuel runs out at each end of the butterfly shaft, if i turn the car round it's fine.
I figure it's the pressure of the fuel gravity feeding into the carb.
Is there an easy way to stop this happening?

The needle and seat are leaking. If not fixed you run the risk of filling your engine full of fuel and then it can cause a few issues.

also, check if your engine oil level has increased in the meanwhile, because if too much fuel has got into the crank case it will have wrecked the
oil, and it should be replaced.

Not necessarily a faulty float valve, rusty dirty fuel can stop a perfectly good one from sealing as well.
It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!
