[SOLD] [FS - QLD] Pending payment 1973 Baja Beetle
FOR SALE 1973 Baja Beetle (Igor)
New Catylic Converter fitted 30.3.14 old one started to rattle
CAR NOW HAS RWC AND IS REGISTERED UNTIL 6TH MONTH 2014
Reluctantly we are selling our 1973 Baja Beetle due to ill health.

We have had the Baja for 10 years and has been our daily driver. It has been a very reliable car in that time. Vehicle is in very good condition.
Here are the details of the car listed below.
1. Subaru EJ22 engine
2. 1600 Kombi gearbox with new heavy duty clutch and machined fly wheel with 15 degree custom mounts for clearance
3. On the front 15 x 7 rims with 30 x 9.5 Hankook MTS
4. On the rear 15 x 8 rims with 31 x 10.5 Hankook Mud Terrains (both sets of tyres are 95% tread)
5. New front brake rotors with Type III larger callipers. Rear brakes are larger Type III drums
6. Custom coil over struts on front
7. KYB gas adjust shocks on rear with 28mm torsion bars
8. Kombi CV joints both inner and outer with custom drive shafts
9. Reinforced front bar with skid plate with spotlights
10. Strengthened front beam with adjusters
11. 2” body strengthening / lift kit and side tree bars
12. Cheeta Baja kit with wide front and rear guards
13. Stainless steel braided brake lines both front and back
14. Vehicle is IRS
15. Six-point rear cage with tow bar and 5mm thick skid plate
16. Twin Donaldson air cleaners with pre-cleaners
17. Rear mounted radiator which avoids mud and sand clogging it
18. Empi shifter and Tacho
19. Heater fan which uses the engine coolant (works well)
20. High mounted third stoplight
21. GPS and Uniden UHF
22. Reversing camera and Clarion stereo head unit
Some of the spares included in price – good 1600 Kombi gearbox, front 15 x 7 rim with 30 x 9.5 tyre (Hankook MT), rear 15 x 8 rim with 31 x 10.5
tyre (Hankook MT), 2 x rear rims 15 x 6 with 235 x 75 Hankook 105T HT
spare Baja kit panels and spare doors etc.
Price: $9,750 ONO due to now having RWC and registration until 6th month.
