Fitting ball joint front end to 65 pan

New to vw's and I'm wondering if a ball joint front end will bolt straight to my 65 floor pan or do I need to use the older style link pin front end , all help on this would be appreciated
Thanks

If its the period correct floorpan for the car (original) then you need to use the older style Link pin front end.:tu:
