WTD: 12v horn for Beetle

I'm just after a 12v horn please with 2 terminals.
I'm in VIC, but hoping it can be posted.
Thanks!

I don't think that is an original Beetle horn. Any Autobarn or Super Crap Auto sells horns like this. Ideally you want two one "high tone" and one "low tone". Or pick up a Nautilus set on eBay for something extra loud.

Hi Mandy,

I just bought a Hella brand replacement recently from JustKampers.com.au

Works great even sounds like the original one.

Fits pretty easily. Only issue I found is that the original rubber 'weather' boots on the wires don't clip onto the terminals making a proper seal like the original one. For now I have left them as best I could get them but a bit of water ect in the winter could get in there and corrode them, but time will tell I guess. Some dielectric grease on the terminals should help hopefully.

Cheers,
Mark

But there's 12 volt horns and then there's a VW horn. 2 different things in my book. The distinctive beep of a VW horn is unmistakable, especially the old bugs (think Herbie).

If you do go aftermarket at least get the right pitch.
