Hey everyone.
About 10months ago I picked up a late bug from a friend who had it sitting for years in a shed in capel and did a quick resto,
On my two trips south I spotted an early 60s one graveyarded at the back of a property.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I pulled in to ask the owners about it.
They said "it was the spare for the one in the shed"
- need I say anymore????
I asked, I saw, my jaw dropped and I gave my number over.
Rust free in all the important sections.
Complete but disassembled.
No big hits anywhere,
Stripped back paint to see everything.
Literally. Awesome.
.. Well.
These people are now moving property and have offered the cars for $1000 for both.
SO MANY new parts, shock absorbers, brake hoses, master cylinder, on and on and on, from purchased made during the restoration.
If I had $1000 I would grab them.
But I have a racecar to build, and an oval of similar calibre.
So I ask no h2o.
Who wants them?
I have a van and a trailer.
And I am willing to drive down, pick them up, and deliver for $200 per trip if we do it together, or $250 per trip if I go it alone. (Wa metro prices
)
Must take both "the killer" and "the dead"
