A Beetle engine doesn't have the mounting points for a Kombi engine cradle.

You can buy these dodgy adapters which pick up the oil pump studs which is a really hokey fix but its its only temporary you would be ok (not a good idea supporting the engine using the 4 8mm oil pump studs)
Also you will need a Kombi intake manifold, a bug one doesn't have the port for the brake booster unless its from a Semi auto.

You're out of luck with the gearbox though, Bug ones don't have the mounting points on the top of the bellhousing to fit a Kombi and the nose cone and mounting area are completely different.
Also with a bugs gearing a 1600 would struggle to get a Kombi moving.

It would be a lot less work to fit the type4 box and just change the input shaft to suit a type1 engine.
