Ready to start (again) so Hello.
Just wanted to say Hi.
I have a very sad little 1970's beetle that has been sitting around waiting for me to do and now I have some time and will be starting some work on
her in the next couple of weeks. Have very little idea what I am doing so looking forward to getting loads of info off the forum.
I started to do some work on her a few years ago when I first got it, and had a small fire when gutting her, finding out the last owner had jerry
rigged the battery cables and they sparked while I was trying to remove it. That put me off doing anything for ages, then life just got in the way as
it does.
So my first part of the plan is to finish gutting her and remove the body, as she has a fair share of rust and needs new heater channels put in.
I am down Rockingham WA area so any places that I can use to carry out stuff would be great to know.

Welcome aboard and good luck this time around with the work. I am sure a few sandgropers will chime in with places you can contact over there that
can help you.
