Car trailer - BRIS

Howdy All,

I was wondering if there might be someone local to me who may be able to assist in the moving of a car from McDowall in Brisbane, to Alderley in Brisbane. If there is someone out there, could you please send me a PM or post here and let me know. Please also let me know what sort of compensation you would like for your help, whether it be in the form of monies or alcohols or what have you.

I would be looking to move the car most likely on the 17th of May.

Thank you :)

hey mate,
I do the moving of cars thing with my car trailer..
your gig is very local
but honestly give a few tilt tray guys a buzz work the cash magic n presto it's done.. professionally n in one piece
I honestly think that moving a car for some beer or something is long gone
car trailers n the horse to tow it n the time to do it n lashing it down n insurances etc all adds up
imo that would be the way to go

nice, bought another car?

Towies are real ruff. especially if they don't want to, or its a cash job where theres no record. I much preffer a friend or 2 with a tralier and some straps for a road trip :) at least you only have yourself to blame then

That's exactly why I was asking Bodo. The last time my car went on a tow truck it wound up with more damage than was caused in the accident that put in on the truck :grind:

Tow companies will be hard pressed to ever get any of my money again.

And I plead the fifth in regards to your question :spin:

Done and dusted!

Had to take the front bar off to get the car back off the trailer, but this is what happens sometimes :p (there's a hint for you Bodo. It's something low and impractical ;) )

Guess the good ol' days of helping people out aren't dead and gone just yet

Try lengthening the ramps? Workshop ramps etc. or driving the back wheels of the tow vechile on some sort of ramps to lift the front of the trailer..

Hahaha man it's already done! Front bar off in less than a minute and drove her off the trailer. Simple

Seems like you've had more offers of help AFTER than BEFORE the event.:smirk:
