Hi Mate looks like a 1966 to me. Take a look at Club Vee Dub Site (google it ) all years chassis and engine numbers are listed and Im pretty sure
there available to anyone. There is another site that is just for 66s hunt around I think its called Dave And Petes or something. Sorry for the
vagueness hope I was of some help.

Rob and Dave's info is for German-built VWs (as for the UK/US market). Doesn't apply to Australian VWs.
Use the Club VW Sydney reference page (Dave's link above) - that's why we wrote it.
