Vic - Wide 5 disc brake conversion kit
For sale a brand new in boxes with instructions, wide 5 front disc conversion for king and link pin standard spindle beetle. This kits bolts onto to
standard spindles only (not dropped). It was purchase from volks conversions in Qld and has never been fitted to a car. Includes:
New disc, wheel bearings, end caps, caliper brackets, calipers, pads and braided hoses for all 4 wheels. Also includes dual circuit master cylinder
and brake fluid bottle to suit.
Cost $1200 new, looking for $400 Ono

A fair question, and to be honest one I probably have the whole answer too.
The master cylinder in the pic you sent is a standard one an not a dual circuit which is what I thought you had to have for disc brakes?
The dual circuit one that comes with the kit was $200 by itself, and the brakes lines where $160.
I would suggest you speak with Volks Conversions in Qld and check with them if interested, but I am guessing they will say the quality of their
parts?
The kit is new as mentioned above, and I have the email from volks conversion with how much it was, but I did not buy it myself.
It came with an oval project I just bought along with a lot of other new parts which I will be using for build. The brakes however are fine to stay
stock however as my plan is to run the stock 36 HP.
