SOLD 1969 Kombi microbus $SOLD
I am listing this for a mate.
Here is his add:
1969 kombi restored a few years ago by vw specialist on the n.s.w central coast.
Then i bought it over 2 years ago off a mate and did further work to finish it off to what you see today.
The paint colour is the original cloud white vw colour.
The interior has VW t.m.i off white vinyl colour seats which were an bare frame rebuild and nice to sit on long trips.The rear seat has vw deluxe jail
bar fitted.
The 3 tone door cards all round i made and were sealed on the back before fitting and theres new carpets on the floor .The back floor sealed with
sound deadener.
Theres new seat belts fitted all round.All the dash switches work nicely with bright H4 headlights.
A new stereo fitted that has the attachments for ipods,stick etc an has a hidden aerial under the dash with some small speakers.
New german door rubbers fitted allround,the rest fitted else were west coast metric brand.
It has 1/4 vent door windows ,1/2 slider middle windows for good air flow inside.
New front door regulators are fitted so the windows wind up an down nicely,new winders,door pulls,sunvisors etc and has the year 69 correct rear
vision mirror.
The gear stick had been removed and rebuilt with new shifter rod bushing kit and is nice and tight with great smooth gear selection.The hand brake
was just re adjusted and work well.
The dash pod has been pulled apart,cleaned glass inside, fitted with new light bulbs.
A new speedo cable just fitted and fuel tank was taken out with new v.d.o.fuel sender fitted.
The car has been sprayed with fish oil inside and on all doors, panels etc before retrimming. And the roof gutters,sills etc inside sprayed with
shultz before the new headlining went in.
Its registered as a 6 seater vehicle and was set up by me for a wedding hire car.
The engine is a 1500 single port ,with a 4 speed gear box which drives real nice.
Its just been serviced and has a new clutch ,bowden tube and thrust bearing with rear main seal etc fitted .
The car has had all the brakes checked and adjusted with new front pads and german parts used were needed.
The front beam has new german ball joints,centre pin,trailing arms,drag link,steering dampener etc just recently fitted and greased.The steering box
had the grease changed and adjusted.
The bumpers were sandblasted and painted both sides and fitted with stainless bolts .
The rims have good larger truck tyres and were just recently sandblasted an painted.
the list goes on and on an on.................
As you can see all the hard work has been done and the car just needs to be driven and looked after.
