F.S Pair Kombi Bumper bars Chrome Brand new

Have had these chrome rear and front Bumper bars for a good 8 years now, and are still in their wrappers.

They are not the genuine Kombi ones, but a copy from a company (Says "Quality chrome Wolf" on packaging) to fit the later air cooled models.
They have a black vinyl stripe in centre

Pick up is Blacktown area

$200

David

opened front bumper and noticed vinyl damaged.
Not sure how happened ?

After a google, it appears they fit Bays from 1968 - 1979

Part number on packaging of front bumper is VWC-241-707-111-JCH
Rear bumper is matching model

Thanks for offer to transport BTW :-)

Had hoped to do Valla myself this year. But Kombi wont be ready in time :-(

I have actually had quite a few PM's and all re posting. In truth I would prefer pickup as less hassle for me.

Or if someone had a VGC steering wheel for a 1974 Bay to swap, would be even better. Thats what money will be used for

If pm me I am happy to provide my number BTW. Not keen on having on thread tho.

The vinyl that is scrapped on front bumper. I believe could be stretched back and would not really notice. Or alternatively the Vinyl could be removed totally and then bumper would just be Chrome.

Will take some more detailed pics today and add to this post.

This is a late model kombi bumper .
Fits from 73 or later not before.
The groove is meant to hold the rubber impact strip.
So i guess if fitted you wouldnt see the vinyl.

Not sure how vinyl will not be seen when is from one end to other of bumper thru the centre ?

My understanding from Google is 1968 to 1979 is all the same bumpers.
found on google > http://au.vwheritage.com/vw_parts_Bus-1968-79-Bumpers_act_page.render_pageID_...
... second bumpers shown not first ones
But maybe wrong

Anyway at 200 bucks cant be a bad deal ?
Really not that that technical either TBH (rely on others )

Keep seeing WTD What does it mean ?

Added a bit later

Oh you mean a rubber strip goes over vinyl

Now I understand
Stll think fittings same from 68 to 79 tho, from VWheritage link I attached
