WTD - Late Beetle Steering lock / column bracket

Need the alloy housing / bearing retainer that houses the steering lock (lock or switch not required) - original part number is 113 805 851.

Looks like this picture:

Anyone have one kicking around? Brisbane preferred!

Thanks Guy

I am not trying to steal your post Guy, but I emailed this photo to Boris (VVS) this morning to try and get one. If I didn't do any good, I was planning to post this photo on here in the next day or so, to see if anyone going to Valla (or anyone anywhere for that matter) may have had one.

As this is your post and you got in first, you get first dibs, but if Boris doesn't have one, and anyone has a 2nd one, can I please have 2nd dibs.

I have one with a couple of stripped threads, and one with one of the cast section where one of the threaded holes is that is broken away. :-(

The one that Guy & I are after are off the later supers - what you see is the cast workings of it, and they have a plastic cover that slips over it. I may be wrong, but I believe the one off a 71 is also cast, but it is all metal - the outside of it is finished and painted.

I would be happy if I am wrong though. :-)
