Dangerous
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Is it a street car or race?
How much HP?
If it is race, get a spool in there.
Those Peloquin diffs are great, but heavy and unnecc in drag racing.
At 680kg and turbo?... what ever the application,
you will need taller 1&2 gears.
You have close ratio 1&2
then wide gaps between the rest!
Turbo will pull through that OK,
but it would be nice to have better-than-stock ratio gaps.
With the tall 4th gear you are kind of limited to wide gaps,
but if you need to keep that 4.57 diff ratio, I would choose:
4.57 diff
2.82 or 2.90 first gear,
1.857 second,
1.19 (or 1.14 third would be second choice)
0.82,
Even better would be one of Albins
4.125 ratio crownwheel and pinions,
3.111 or 3.333 first gear
1.93 or 2.00 second gear
1.25 or 1.300 third gear
0.89 4th gear.

Thanks for the reply Dave
This is a street driven Buggy
With a bit of strip play
The reason Peloquin diff I figure is to help keep it straight
under hard take off
Hp hopefully around 250 ,Ron Lummus recon's 300 but I'm shore he is talking flywheel HP
I really don't want to boost more than 15lb's.
I have never really looked at gearboxes, specially Kombi boxes
So your advice is greatly appreciated
