Wanted, Dual Carbs for Beetle 1600SP

As the title says, I am after a complete set of Dual Carbs including link arms etc for a 1600SP motor in a 67 Bug. This is for a motor my Son & I are building together.

My Email is rastas4@iprimus.com.au.

Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter,

I think two dual carbs will be too much for single port heads....first get twin port heads then big carbs!

Could be wrong? Just look at the size of the intake hole on your heads, then the bottom of a big Webber/Dellorto!

From the research I have done (and what I used to run 20 years ago), small bore dual carbs run great on SP motors (and more torque than DP).

I will give this a go again!

I'm running dual Kadrons on a SP 1776, it goes smooth and strong.
Very easy to tune and they don't really need a unisync to balance, just follow Kaddieshacks youtube clips, easy as.

All interesting stuff! (always thought TP was way better than SP (power and torque))

Yo Rastas, just seen where you live!
Drop in one day and get some inspiration from my '67 (and maybe inspire me to finish it!):!:
Cheers
Dave
