t3 transporter inline fuel pump


t3 inline fuel pump noisy under load intermittently ,should i replace it with similar pump or is there a low cost replacement ,my pump is a cylinder shape

Have you checked your fuel filter(s)



I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!:lol:

Mine is the same, think I am up for a new tank in the future. I understand this is quite a common sign of blocked lines/filter/tank outlet. Do you have any obvious power loss under heavy loads?

i have a new tank and i constantly change the filter before the pump ,no it doesn`t loose power it just sounds like a whipper snipper.
