rear rim question

Hi, not really a question related to drag racing but hoping you might be able to help me out

I'm about to change the stud pattern to chev on my 68 bug, all stock

been looking at a few rim sizes, but due to the fact my rear guards are not on and motor is out Im looking for some advice with regard to clearance on outer to guard

I have measured my std 4 std rims and they appear to have a 4"back space with plenty of room to come inwards

looking at 6"with 3.5" back space, I think this will fit no problems

Is a 7" with a 3.5" back space to much hanging fwd of mounting?

looking to run a 205 to 225 /60 rear tyre rim dependant

hoping to lower a touch in rear, 2"drop spindles in front with 24 - 26" tyre

Thanks Chris
