Where do you all buy 36hp Ignition parts
Those that are running 36 hp engines where are you buying cap, rotors and leads from?
I see CIP1 and Wolfsburg West sell them but theyre repro copies and not genuine Bosch.
What are youre experience with them and are there similar parts sold in Australia?
Cheers in advance. Chris

Hmm, pretty sure that apart from the wide bodied dizzy of the mid 60s the rest all use the same diameter cap and are interchangeable.
Bosch leads aren't as good as they used to be so try an Oz brand like Eagle.

What is the difference from 36hp leads and 1200/1300/1600?
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

Most recently I've been buying from Wolfsburg West as I've been ordering other stuff and it's been cheaper just to chuck a few spares in the
package...
No problems with cap and rotor but had two sets of dodgy points from them...sourced a couple old bosch ones from vintage and they are better quality.

I hope WW quality isn't slipping. That'd be a right shame
