Time for you Paul to build another Imp Pro Beetle. Lol. Bob may have done a 1.07 in the Honda but he was not much slower in his Mk1 Escort a few moons
ago. The Hondas have been the front running Imp Por U2L car to beat for a few years now. In saying that, there has been a mixture of Nissans (FWD
& RWD), Toyotas (FWD & RWD) and Suzukis which have also won events too at various times.

yeah building a aircooled 2 litre beetle with a reliable 300 hp motor would be a challenge because that is what you would need to be up the
front..
