-apparently owner wants $5k for this machine, no other bidders hasnt hit reserve but knowin the japanese as well as I do, they wil more than likely
want to start another project extremely soon and this wont pass shaken probably due to noise levels or something else so they would give it up easily.
also, pre 1989 rule, due to so many good restored examples coming out of japan and not being able to find anything good where I live (if at all), I
wouldnt mind knowing what gets changed when a car like a 60's beetle lands in oz as im told theres no compliance but love to know what needs to be
done to the car itself, if anything at all. Anyone had any experience in this?

check with DOTARS but its my belief that you cannot import anything that is not pretty much standard unmodified factory correct.
people are getting away with ride heights but thats a bit more. Mitchell
