Roo Shooter gave the crowd at the Snowy Mountains 1000 a huge grin, people were amazed that a kombi can be driven that fast, sit back and enjoy every spltty drivers fantasy,,,,off the speedo

Thanks every one for the great support , the Roo Shooter has also set a new record world wide over 1000m run according to the official VW LSR site run by Burly in the USA. To be honest I was also surprised at the initial acceleration but a close study of the link shows how much harder to gain speed over the 100mph mark, plans are to use the bus as much as possible in motorsport events .... will keep posting any more attempts. Steve
