Orange 60's Beetle today at the shops at Carina in Brisbane. Had a pretty stout engine by the sound of it too!! Nice car

Was it this one by any chance?
I know the bloke. Its a 1963 with a 1916cc in the rear.

Yes. Very cool.
We pulled him over on the side of the road by showing him the VW engine we had on the back of the ute!!
