71 was a one year only switch which is probably why you are not having much luck.
I have modified 72 onwards switches to fit before, just takes some soldering but 71 switches are available new still.
There is a used one on ebay at the moment but it looks fairly new, the plastic yellows after a short period and the horn contacts have hardly any wear
on them.
