New Member with a 60-something
Hi all
New member here.
I have a beetle with a 5187xxx vin number.
The person I bought it from said was a 62, the vin would indicate a 63 and it was registered as a 65.
She has modifications, which further hamper my efforts to date her.
Any advice or comments would be welcome.
Cheers
Duke

looks like a 62 as it has the small front indicators and small popes nose ( number plate light ) .
Have a look at any of the glass in the car and it will have armourfloat etched into the glass , to be a 62 there should be a dot over the first R , ie
A is 1 , R is 2 , M is 3 and so on
Don't let body work get in the way of real suspension travel
