Clutch pressure plate

I'm after a clutch pressure plate, I don't care what condition it's in just so long as it has a pad/plate whatever you call it, attached. What I have is a type 4 engine attached to a swing axle gearbox so the clutch is a late type and the thrust bearing is early and after some years this has now bit the bullet and I've replaced the fu*ked fork, the thrust bearing was OK but have no replacement for the pad. The pad that died was the type where it's secured with a large spring type washer to the fingers NOT the early type that's is clipped to the 3 leavers. I hope that makes sense.

The pad was held on with a crimped washer. We had to cut them off with a grinder.
What size is the clutch?

Actually just need the pad as cleaning out the garage (my once in 10 year job!) I found a washer in excellent condition but no pad :( Plus in reply the buying the complete thing the clutch is in perfect condition plus most places are not open over Christmas / New Year and the clutch is a 210mm and I don't think they ever came with the pad.

I had a 6V Gearbox that i was putting a later model Engine into.
I had to grind out the Gearbox, then i bought a pressure plate that had the collar on it at its all working fine!
Its the same as the one in the photo, but a collar type one.
I have a new one kicking around in a bag somewhere so let me know if you want it...
Cheers

A new one would be overkill as I'd only need the pad and anyway the clutch would still need to be a 210mm

I only need a 2nd hand/scrap one as the pressure plate is not needed and will more than likely be dumped, just after the pad :( The reason I'm saying this is because so far I've been offered brand new ones that I expect people want brand new prices for and if this is the case, as you said H ,I'd may as well just buy brand new.

Hi ancientbugger,

Quote:

just after the padText

If the one you had, is same as the in the pics I posted. Then you will also need the inner ring. There is the "pad", the inner "ring" and the large spring "washer". The inner ring secures the pad and the washer either side of the diaphragm fingers. The inner ring is swaged/crimped on ie. it's edge is rolled over on both ends (as can be seen in the pics).
Hope this helps
