Registering a bug from Vic, in SA - any tips on what they look out for?
Hi,
my VW was from Melbourne and I need to register in SA on the historical registry. Im replacing the wooden steering wheel with one from a member of the
forum. Just wondering if you need to have a working horn, plus anything else they might focus on before approving it? Any feedback will be
appreciated.
Thanks

We SA registered the Qld purchased Notch in September. We're in a regional area so had the local police do an inspection. All he looked at was the
Vin, the engine number and the body number. Then checked it out on his computer and filled in the paperwork. We took to the rego dept and all done.
Same thing with a vic registered Cressida a few years ago, that one had been out of rego for 4 years. Not sure about in the city though.
