My 61/63 project (aka Steve)
Hi all,
After a few years of my beetle sitting as is it is full steam ahead! I purchased "Steve" (he came with the name lol) from one of my ex-students when
I was a driver trainer. At that stage he was a daily. He came with no plate in the wheel well so I'm unsure what year he is, his rego said 61 but the
chassis and engine numbers say 63.
My plans are to take him back to the original colour and a bit of low and slow action
This is my first project so any imput or advice will be welcomed with open arms.
Thanks Brendon

Is that just in general? Or is there something you see that looks bad?

Take your time and learn as you build. Looks pretty cool. And not anywhere as bad as my chopped 74. Don't be put off by any wet blankets.
Take a look at this thread from the Samba if you want an idea how much work you won't have to do but proof that anything is do-able.

Good luck with it
Your already further than I've got so far.
