Doing some awesome fab work, (more than I expected). I just orignally wanted to go with about 450-500 hp with the vw tranny. Then it just morfed
out.
Looking for a rack and pinion to put in, gonna custom build th etorsion bar. Don't know what's happening in the rear yet. The engine is coming
forward another 3-4" for balance and handling. Their bulding it like a kid is gonna drive it, hell I'm an old 64 year old man (little crazy)

The rack and pinion steering should be in next week (maybe). Now they are checking to make sure evhaerything is square, and then they will start the
mounting struts, etc..

CC it was a good read for me about your project-you are doing good work there and out of the "norm".We are the same age and our Grandfathers were
probably in rocking chairs with knee rugs at our age.I reckon that I will run out of time to finish all the ideas buzzing in my head for future

Thanks for reading. It started as a dream kinda. After I had sold the Harley I figured I'd make good on a bet I had with a friend about his 65
Mustang and me building a VW that could outrun his little Pony.
Well he's got the pony running and it's hot, Discovery Channel did a show on it. So once the story was told the thing just started to grow, new
front end, rear suspension, and about 650-750 hp.
Should have all the major frame work done in the next two weeks. Then they will put more guys on the fab work for the air inter coolers, air ducks,
radiator, brakes, etc..
