AWA Radio

Hey folks, I purchased this unit on ebay over a year ago with a view of fitting it in a 69 Bug but have since gone for a RetroSound radio instead. When I bought it, it was listed as just VW Radio so I didn't have any knowledge of what it was from or if it would have even fit.

Can anyone confirm what year/model this radio would have come from, using Google the closest radio I can find to it is a model called an AWA PF.

Cheers Ryan

There should be a radio model number n the case somewhere, probably on the back that will help

Thanks Donn, on the underside of the radio there is the number 65 in the top right corner plus PF34Z followed by 12v NEG towards the center. There are some other digits bottom left but they are unfortunately unreadable. On the back there is an AWA stamp with 2n301 E

Hope that helps, Ryan
